Adelaide United today unveiled its new away jersey for the 2019/20 season which will be worn for the first time in the FFA Cup 2019 against Melbourne Knights on Wednesday night.
The predominantly all-white strip, manufactured by the Club’s Official On-field Partner, Macron, is a simple yet classy design.
Red trimming features around the neck and is prominent above the shoulders, while embossed white pinstripes on the front and back of the shirt add subtle character to the slim-fit jersey.
As reigning FFA Cup Champions, an embroidered white and gold FFA Cup Winners patch proudly sits on the right side of the chest and will be visible throughout the team’s participation in this year’s tournament.
For the Hyundai A-League the FFA Cup patch will be replaced by a Hyundai A-League badge, while the Championship star will appear above the Club logo.
The piping shrike, synonymous with South Australia, also appears at the top of the neck as does the Club’s foundation year, 2003.
Mesh inserts under the arms also enhance breathability and comfort for players to perform to their optimal.
The away shorts and socks are both white too and feature a vertical red stripe on the outside of the shorts and socks, complementing the slick look.
