The following is a statement from Adelaide United regarding the distribution and sale of official club apparel and merchandise for the Hyundai A-League 2011/12 Season.
Adelaide United wishes to clearly state that Top Corner Sports is not currently an approved retailer of official Adelaide United apparel and to date there has been no application made to Adelaide United to enable Top Corner Sports to retail official Adelaide United merchandise or club apparel.
Unless and until Top Corner Sports is granted approval as a retail outlet by Adelaide United, Top Corner Sports cannot offer for sale any Adelaide United product as was asserted it is able to do in the September 7 edition of The Advertiser.
To be approved as an official retailer of Adelaide United product any retail outlet must satisfy stringent conditions which are set out in the Kit Supplier Agreement between Errea and Adelaide United. Adelaide United has advised Errea that Top Corner Sports does not currently meet the required criteria to enable it to be approved as a retailer of Adelaide United product.
In the near future, the Club, forthe benefit of all its members and supporters, will publish a list of all approved retail outlets where Adelaide United merchandise can be purchased.
