Adelaide United can advise Head Coach, Carl Veart, has tested positive for COVID-19 via a rapid antigen test (RAT) this morning, as per daily testing protocols.
Veart, who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, has since undertaken a PCR test and is awaiting the result.
Ross Aloisi will assume the role of interim Head Coach for tomorrow night’s FFA Cup 2021 Quarter Final against Melbourne Victory and subsequent away league meeting on Saturday evening.
The Club can also reveal two more players tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.
However, besides the aforementioned confirmed cases, the rest of the Club’s Isuzu UTE A-League players and staff have returned negative test results, are healthy, and continue to perform daily RATs and undergo regular PCR testing.
