Adelaide United midfielder, Cameron Watson, will not have his contract renewed for the 2015/16 season.

Cameron Watson will leave Adelaide United before the commencement of the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season after the expiration of Watson’s contract.

Watson joined Adelaide United from Victorian based club, Oakleigh Cannons FC, and has been with the club since the 2010/11 season in which he made 28 appearances.

Over the five years that he was with the Club, Watson amassed 111 appearances for United, scoring one memorable career goal in the 2014/15 season to help secure a win against Melbourne City in Round 26.

He was also involved in four AFC Asian Champions League matches, including one playoff game, one group stage game, and two knockout games, and was part of Adelaide’s inaugural Westfield FFA Cup winning squad from December 2014.

The Club wishes Cameron the best for his future and thank him wholeheartedly for his loyal services throughout his time with us.
