Adelaide United is proud to announce Young Reds Trio, Keron Longhe, Hugo Ng, and Daniel Wojcick have been named in the CommBank Joeys 23-player squad for the CFA U17 Invitational 2026 tournament, to be held between 5 – 13 July.
The tournament – which features hosts China PR, Nigeria and Tanzania – represents an opportunity to expose more players within this age group to international football as preparations continue for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026 in November.
With only three players from the recent AFC U17 Asian Cup squad selected, and 11 uncapped Joeys earning their first call-up, the tournament offers valuable experience against international opposition.
CommBank Joeys Head Coach Carl Veart said:
“This tournament provides us with an excellent opportunity to broaden the group’s international experience ahead of the FIFA U17 World Cup later this year.
“We’ve selected a squad that includes a number of players who have performed strongly in their club environments and deserve the chance to experience international football.
“Eleven players will be involved with the CommBank Joeys for the first time, which is an exciting reflection of the depth of talent within this age group.”
