Adelaide United is pleased to announce Claudia Jenkins as the winner of the 2024/25 Red Army A-League Women’s Player of the Year.
Voted by Red Army members and the general public in an end-of-season vote, the award recognises the player whose on and off field performance resonated with our core fans the most. Previous recipients of the Red Army A-League Women’s Player of the Year award include Nanako Sasaki and Annalee Grove.
Red Army President, Josh Wilson was high in his praise of Jenkins’ role in our A-League Women’s success this season:
“Claudia has had a fantastic breakout season, often pulling out unbelievable saves and keeping us in games. Her leadership at the back has been an important role in the revival and meteoric climb of our Women’s team this season.”
