Adelaide United is pleased to announce Francesca (Frankie) Queale and Marius Zanin as joint winners of the 2024/25 Remo Paris Club Person of the Year award.
The Remo Paris Club Person of the Year has been awarded since 2016 in recognition of the Club person that personifies the Reds’ cultural values. The award is named in honour of the late Franco Remo Paris, who passed away on 19 March 2016. Remo Paris was a part of the Adelaide United medical staff since the Club’s inception and was a valued member of the Club; loved by players, coaches, and staff alike, for his infectious humour and passion for football. His dedication to the development of football in South Australia was immense and his contribution to the game forever remembered.
The winner of the Remo Paris award is judged to have conducted themselves in a manner which others aspire to and are willing to make a sacrifice and put others first. All Adelaide United players and staff members are invited to nominate someone within the Club who embodies the Remo Paris award ethos. These nominations are then considered by the Adelaide United Board who then select the overall winner.
Previous award recipients include: Colin Varacalli, William Cutts, Fabrizio, Petrone, Eleni Vosnakis, and Campbell Arnold.

Zanin, Head of Football, oversees the entire football operation, including our A-League Men, Women’s and Youth teams. Zanin took over the role in 2023/24 following completion of the FIFA Masters Course, however has been a long-standing Club stalwart in his previous role as Head of Marketing and Communications.
