AUFC Esports competitors confirmed for E-League 2022 season

The E-League returns in 2022 under a revitalised format with AUFC Esports also undergoing some changes of its own, securing the services of Cristian ‘vNuggzy’ Valeri while re-signing Joel ‘JAz’ Andruszkiewicz.

The 2022 season will be vNuggzy’s debut campaign in the competition and currently ranks inside the top 15 of Oceania rankings.

Speaking about joining AUFC Esports, vNuggzy, said: “This is an incredible chance for myself to showcase what I’m capable of on the national stage.

“I’m really grateful to Adelaide for giving me this wonderful opportunity and hopefully we can enjoy some success.”

Local South Australian, JAz is back for a third season with Adelaide United, completing the one-two punch.

He returns providing international pedigree competing against the best players in the world at global FIFA events in the United Kingdom, United States and Singapore.

Speaking about re-signing with Adelaide, JAz, said: “Getting the opportunity to represent Adelaide United again for the third time is exciting and something I’m extremely proud about.

“Growing up in Adelaide meant I supported Adelaide United, so to wear this jersey is extra special and I believe myself and vNuggzy can bring success to the Club this campaign.”

The tournament begins with the E-League Group Stage commencing on May 7 with Australia’s best-known EA SPORTSTM FIFA22 competitors vying to clinch bragging rights for their clubs and be crowned champions on PlayStation®5.

The live events, broadcast on Twitch, will take place over four days in May and the top two players in the E-League Finals will qualify to represent their A-Leagues club and country in the EA SPORTSTM FIFA22 Global Series Playoffs.
