Baba Diawara brings a wealth of European pedigree to the Reds having played with and against a number of high profile footballers in both the Portuguese Primeira Liga and La Liga such as Ivan Rakitic and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Senegalese talisman has over 70 appearances in the Spanish top flight with the likes of Sevilla, Getafe and Levante as well as scoring 41 goals in Portugal with Maritimo. Diawara quickly began a crowd favourite after scoring four goals in three matches with the Club and proved to be a deadly poacher inside the 18-yard box.
