The Reds- South American contingent was given a boost ahead of Saturday-s clash against Brisbane Roar after rubbing shoulders with members of Columbian performance group CIRCOLUMBIA.

CIRCOLUMBIA is in Adelaide for the annual Fringe Festival and is regarded as one of the Fringe-s biggest international acts. Naturally, the Circolumbian boys are big fans of the world game so it was no surprise they relished the chance to have a kick on the Hindmarsh surface and show off their juggling skills.

There-s a good chance they could also take some time out from their schedule to be in the stands to cheer on the Reds against Brisbane Roar on Saturday.

Described as an act with ‘high-voltage energy that puts a rocket under contemporary circus-, CIRCOLUMBIA are arguably the Adelaide Fringe’s highest energy and athletic performance. Their show features death-defying acrobatics and an original autobiographical hip-hop soundtrack about the performer’s life on the Colombian streets sung live by the performers themselves. It’s like cirque de soleil with serious street-cred and attitude.

A revolutionary circus experience, this production was originally commissioned by the Roundhouse Theatre in London, where it had a sell-out season before going on to be a hit in Edinburgh, Paris and New York. Click here to check them out.
