Daniel Margush has been around the Reds setup for several years and was promoted to the senior squad from the youth team. The young goalkeeper debuted for the Club in January 2016 as an 18-year-old, foreshadowing Adelaide’s goalkeeping department would be in safe hands for the future, with yet another auspicious gloveman on the books of the South Australians. Margush bided his time patiently during the 2016/17 season, but when summoned to the starting XI he produced assured displays against Melbourne Victory, Western Sydney Wanderers and Jiangsu Suning in the AFC Champions League.
