Adelaide United Head Coach, Carl Veart, was left disappointed following his side’s 1-0 loss to Western United on Sunday evening.
The Reds were unable to take a host of quality chances throughout the 90 minutes, something unlike them in recent weeks.
Veart said:
“(I’m) a little bit disappointed that we didn’t get something from tonight.
“The boys, in the second half, did everything possible, but we just couldn’t score.
“(Western United) defended their line well.
“They were desperate with their defensive line, had a lot of numbers back there.
“It just wouldn’t fall in for us.
“But the effort the boys put in was was excellent, and the intensity, and the second half was very good.
“We’ll go away and have a look at (the game) and see where we could have maybe improved a little bit in the first half.”
