Adelaide United FC can confirm it has given permission for defender Iain Fyfe to enter discussions with an Iranian club.
“Iain has received a very good offer and we have agreed to allow him to travel there to further those discussions,” Adelaide United General Manager of Football Operations, Michael Petrillo said.
Information on the club and the negotiations will remain confidential until any further developments eventuate.
Fyfe will depart for Iran tonight.
