Captain Eugene Galekovic has declared that the Reds are ready to put it all on the line in Sunday-s Elimination Final against Brisbane Roar.

With every game in the finals series do-or-die, the dual Hyundai A-League Goalkeeper of the Year knows the equation to lift the trophy at the end is a simple one.

“You need to win three games to win the championship so that-s our aim,” Galekovic said.

“Three games, give everything, try to win them and we could be champions of Australia if we do that.”

The Reds- first hurdle comes in the shape of trying to topple the reigning Hyundai A-League champions at Hindmarsh, an assignment that has proven unsuccessful in recent times.

Two of the Reds- four losses at home this season came against the Roar, both in 1-0 results, leaving Galekovic, who led the league in saves this season with 85, is under no illusions of what will be required to come out victorious on Sunday.

But despite the Roar-s positive record in Adelaide this campaign, Galekovic believes playing in front of a parochial home crowd will be hugely beneficial in helping the Reds get over the line.

“I think it-s massive,” Galekovic said of the impact the home crowd will have on Sunday.

“It-s our home ground, our home supporters and the thing is they-ve beaten us twice here, we know that, we know we have to play better football to beat them and that-s our aim on Sunday.”

Kick-Off is at 4.30pm ACST. Click here to secure your ticket.
