United Media caught up with Archie Goodwin following a recent preseason friendly against Cumberland United.
Hear from the forward about how he’s been settling into life in Adelaide.
Hattrick tonight how’d you feel?
Yeah, great! It’s great to be out with the boys. Good hit out with the lads. And yeah, looking forward to next week’s Cup game.
How are you feeling? It’s been a good positive preseason for you, you’re a goal machine!
Yeah, yeah, definitely. It’s been a good step up. Trainings been hard, Carl’s been working us hard and the boys drive a high standard at training. So I think I’ve really improved the last few weeks and it’s good to get on the scoresheet again.
Have you settled in well? Life in Adelaide is treating you well and have you been fishing?
Yeah, settled in really well. I got my fishing buddy Dylan Pierias. So we’ve been going a few times just on our days off, loving the city. Love the people here. Really settled in well.
Senior debut next week in Blacktown you hope, are you looking forward to that?
Looking forward to it. Keen to get the debut and yeah, just do my best when I get out on the pitch.
