Adelaide United forward, Ben Halloran, was left disappointed after the Reds lost 2-0 away to Macarthur FC in Round 2 of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 season.
While United did find the back of the net three times, unfortunately, all three were disallowed leaving the Reds with nothing to show for their efforts in front of goal.
Halloran said: “It’s just disappointing.
“We didn’t score, we lost 2-0, what can I say?
“We did hit the back of the net, but at the end of the day, we didn’t score a proper goal.
“It’s just disappointing (and) we expect a lot more.
“We look forward to the next game and hope to win that one.”
