Adelaide United wishes to advise defender, Harry Van der Saag, has undergone successful surgery.
Van der Saag suffered a tear in his right medial meniscus during a training session at the VALO Training Centre.
Following advice from Club Doctor, Dr James Ilic, and a specialist, surgery was deemed the best method of recover for the 23-year-old.
The surgery was a success and it is expected that Van der Saag will miss three months of competitive football.
