Home Grown | Adelaide United Unveils 2026/27 Home Kit Inspired by Iconic Palm House

Adelaide United is proud to unveil its new home kit for the 2026/27 A-League season, celebrating the Club’s deep connection with its city through one of Adelaide’s most treasured landmarks – the iconic Palm House at Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Inspired by the distinctive architecture of the historic glasshouse, the new shirt brings another piece of Adelaide onto the pitch while prominently restoring red, blue and yellow to the Reds’ home design.

Home Grown, State Proud

For almost 150 years, the Palm House has stood proudly among the trees and gardens of Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Imported from Bremen, Germany in 1875 and designed by architect Gustav Runge, the Victorian glasshouse was remarkably advanced for its time and is thought to be the only one of its kind still in existence.

Its sophisticated iron-and-glass construction became a benchmark in glasshouse design, with its hanging glass walls using engineering principles similar to those seen in modern city buildings.

The sleeve pattern takes its cues from the Palm House’s repeating iron framework and glass panels, reimagining one of Adelaide’s most recognisable landmarks as part of the Reds’ identity.

From the trees of the Botanic Garden to the terraces of Coopers Stadium, Adelaide United’s connection with its city runs deep.

The State Colours Return

That connection is strengthened by the prominent return of red, blue and yellow throughout the home design.

Inspired by South Australia’s State Colours of red, blue and yellow, the Club’s familiar palette runs throughout the Palm House-inspired sleeve pattern, reconnecting the modern shirt with an important part of Adelaide United’s visual history.

Mega Rewards Returns

Mega Rewards will once again take pride of place on the front of the shirt, continuing its partnership with Adelaide United after joining as A-League Men’s Home Front-of-Shirt Partner in 2025/26 and extending its support into the 2026 Australia Cup.

We’re delighted to be teaming up with Mega Rewards once again this season, with the partnership set to deliver a range of exclusive rewards, opportunities and memorable experiences for Reds fans throughout 2026/27. Further details on upcoming activations and fan experiences will be announced across the season.

Adelaide United CEO Nathan Kosmina said the kit captured both the history of the city and the Club’s enduring connection with South Australia.

“Every year we want our home shirt to tell a South Australian story, this season paying homage to the Adelaide Botanic Garden,” Kosmina said.

“We’re also proud to have our state colours featured so prominently again. Those colours have been part of our identity since 2003 and reinforce the connection between Adelaide United and South Australia.

“Our Club belongs to this city and this state, and this shirt celebrates exactly that.”

The Player jersey, also available at retail, features an ergonomic fit, lightweight high-stretch fabric and the full-colour Club badge, delivering an authentic matchday feel for supporters.

The 2026/27 Adelaide United men’s home kit is available now from the Adelaide United Store and online. The A-League Women’s kit will be available in the coming weeks.
