Nikola Mileusnić is confident Adelaide United is capable of bouncing back against Western Sydney Wanderers at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.
After a positive result against Melbourne Victory in Round 12, the Reds fell 2-1 to Sydney FC in the harbour city last weekend.
The speedster, who scored a quick-fire brace in the Reds’ 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture back on Boxing Day, spoke about the need to be more consistent as a team and establish a winning run.
“Consistency is very important, it will get you up in the table and hold your step for the end of the season,” Mileusnić explained to reporters at Adelaide Airport.
“But for us it’s just important to focus on game by game and try and get the three points and hopefully continue that on.
“… We know we’re a good team and we all have confidence in each other and to get a result like that is a bit disappointing, but we’ll look to build on it this week and in the future as well.”

The Wanderers have endured a six-game winless streak which includes four straight defeats from their past four matches and sit eighth on the table.
Western Sydney showed signs of their quality despite suffering a dramatic 4-3 loss to Perth Glory last round.
“We know Western Sydney are a good team and we’ve looked at their strengths and weaknesses,” he said.
“And same with us as well so we’ve focused on what we can do better from last week and how we can expose Western Sydney.
“So I think it will be a good game, end-to-end, and obviously be very hot, so I think it should be a good match up.”
The 25-year-old was also asked to reflect on his own form, having scored three goals and provided an assist in his previous five games.
Mileusnić was happy with his recent performances but stated he is always looking to improve.
“Personally, I think it’s been very good for myself,” he said.
“I’ve come off a long-term injury and have come back and found the back of the net a few times so that’s always good to score.
“But I still have a lot of work to do and try and keep my games consistent especially with my fitness as well and try and stay injury-free.”
