Our Premier Partner have teamed up with the Royal Flying Doctor Service for this weekend’s game against Western Sydney Wanderers in Round 19 of the Hyundai A-League.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides primary health care and 24-hour emergency service to people that live, work and travel in rural and remote Australia.
The RFDS Aeromedical Simulator is a life-sized replica of a Flying Doctor plane and will be located next to IGA Family Park. It is fully equipped with stretchers, communications equipment, oxygen, suction and the medical equipment used by the doctors, nurses and pilots of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
The Aeromedical Simulator forms part of an educational program visiting schools to teach students about the Flying Doctor’s role in keeping country Australians healthy.
