Adelaide United Captain, Isaías, has urged Reds fans to pack out Coopers Stadium ahead of Friday night’s highly-anticipated Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season opener with Sydney FC.
The meeting will be a prelude to the FFA Cup 2018 Final just over a week later, but the Spaniard says his side are solely focused on taking it one game at a time.
“Everyone is very excited for this game, finally we want to start the season,” Isaías told reporters at the Adelaide United Training Centre.
“And I think we’re very excited and very hungry to start the season well.”
Building some early season form is also something Isaías admits will be crucial to experience a campaign filled with success.
The 31-year-old added that he hoped supporters would attended in huge numbers throughout the year to generate a hostile atmosphere for the visiting teams.
“For us it’s massive we know to start the season at home is very important for us,” he said.
“If we get a win and we start well it’s good to build the momentum for the next couple of weeks.
“And we need the support from all the Reds Family, they’re very important for us and I hope to see all of them on Friday night.
“They’re the 12th player for us and when it’s a full house at Coopers Stadium, it’s crazy, the atmosphere is amazing.”

The Reds have made a number of strong additions to the squad and Isaías believes there is more depth in the side than in previous years.
He revealed not only have the new arrivals adapted extremely well, but the younger players in the team have increased the competition for starting places.
“I think the squad is stronger than last season and I really hope the new signings will score a lot of goals this season,” he said.
“And we really trust them because they show us in training everyday they’re doing really well and we’re happy with them and I’m sure they’ll have a successful season.”
On Friday night’s opponents, the Spanish maestro thinks the Sky Blues will maintain a near identical playing style under new boss, Steve Corica.
Despite losing the likes of Bobo and Adrian Mierzejewski, Sydney acquired Adam le Fondre and Siem de Jong – both who boast impressive pedigrees.
“I think they’ll probably the same playing style and they’ve also brought in very good players,” he continued.
“They’ve lost some important players but they’ve brought in quality players with experience and they will be strong again.”
