Adelaide United wishes to advise Assistant Head Coach, Jacobo Ramallo, has departed the Club, seeking a new opportunity overseas.

Ramallo was first made an Assistant Head Coach for the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season during Guillermo Amor’s tenure as Head Coach, and had previously been involved with the Club’s technical analysis, scouting, and youth development.

The Spaniard was integral to Marco Kurz’s coaching staff throughout the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season and departs with the Club’s well-wishes for his future.

Speaking on Ramallo’s departure, Adelaide United’s General Manager of Football, Ante Kovacevic, said: “Since joining Adelaide United, Jacobo has embodied what this Club is about with his honesty and humility.

“Jacobo came to Adelaide highly regarded and demonstrated his immense knowledge of football from day one.

“His understanding of the game was very beneficial for us and his integration with Marco and the coaching staff was seamless.

“It’s unfortunate to be losing him, but we thank him for his contributions to the club and wish him the best for his future.”
