Adelaide United is delighted to confirm defender, Javi López, has signed a one-year contract extension.
Since joining the Club ahead of the 2020/21 season, López has established himself as one of the league’s all-time best right-backs, also firmly cementing himself as a United fan-favourite.
Adelaide United Head Coach, Carl Veart, said: “We couldn’t be happier to have Javi sign this one-year extension with us.
“Since making his debut for the Club, Javi’s immense quality has been obvious and his consistent performances have been instrumental in our team’s progress.
“The experience Javi provides us both on the field and in the changeroom is invaluable and I’m very confident he will continue to be an important player for us throughout this new campaign.”
37-year-old, López, has made 74 appearances for Adelaide United to-date, scoring three goals.
