The Danish speedster joins the Club for the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season and will add another dimension to the Reds’ forward line. A two-time Superliga winner in his homeland, Absalonsen amassed over 350 appearances in all competitions most notably with top-tier outfits Brøndby IF, Odense Boldklub, SønderjyskE and FC Copenhagen. His blistering speed to brush aside his opponents enables him to not only deliver inch-perfect crosses into the area but also score at a respectable rate for a wide player.
