Adelaide United is thrilled to announce Kite will become the Club’s new Co-Major Partner of our Liberty A-League Women’s team for the upcoming season.
Kite has been a Platinum Partner of the Club since the 2019/20 campaign, featuring on the back of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s jersey, and on the front of the Women’s shorts last season.
A proud South Australian, family-owned property development, sales and management company has shifted its focus to concentrate on the Women’s program leading into the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™.
As part of the agreement, Kite’s logo will feature on the front of the Liberty A-League Women’s home and away jerseys for the impending 2022/23 season.
Adelaide United Commercial Director, Adam Thomson, said: “We’re delighted Kite has agreed to continue its partnership with the Club, deciding to shift its focus in a different yet equally important capacity.
“Kite has been extremely supportive over the last three years and as the women’s game is becoming increasingly more professional here in Australia, our partners see added value and investment opportunities to support female football.
“There is certainly a lot of optimism and anticipation leading into next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup with Adelaide being one of the host cities in Australia.”
Kite Managing Director, Damon Nagel, said: “This is a significant milestone for our business as we see real potential and value in supporting Adelaide United’s women’s program.
“We’re extremely passionate about equal opportunities whether it be in a workplace or sporting context and with the Women’s World Cup also coming to our shores next year, now was an opportune time to be fully invested.
“Women’s football, not only in this country but around the world, is growing exponentially and we are excited to play a part of that journey.”
