Adelaide United extends its congratulations to Lucía León on her selection for the Dominican Republic Women’s National Team for the upcoming FIFA international window (26 May – 3 June).
The 27-year-old right back has taken the Ninja A-League by storm for her inaugural season with Adelaide United, featuring in 26 matches and amassing five goals and three assists in the Reds most successful women’s season to date.
The Dominican Republic Women’s National Soccer Team has announced the list of players called up for the FIFA Window from May 26 to June 3, 2025, during which the Dominican Republic will play two preparation matches against their counterpart from Honduras.
Both matches will take place at the Carlos Miranda Municipal Stadium in Comayagua, Honduras. The first will be played on Thursday, May 29, and the second on Sunday, June 1, starting at 3:00 PM (Dominican Republic time).
Betzaida Ubri, head coach of the women’s national team, has called up 22 players for this series against the Central American squad.
