Adelaide United’s pre season match against the Central Coast Mariners on Thursday will be open to the public.
Adelaide United fans will get the chance to see the Reds- pre season match against the Central Coast Mariners on Thursday with the hit out now open to the public.
In what will be the club-s only match against Hyundai A-League opposition at Coopers Stadium prior to the season proper, United supporters are invited to head along for the 3.30pm kick-off as the Reds take on the reigning champions from Gosford.
All of the Reds- pre season games to date leading up to Season 9 have been against local clubs, but Thursday-s test against the Mariners is certain to give Coach Josep Gombau a serious indication of where his team is at in its preparations and ability to carry out his game style.
The game is also set to mark the first appearance in a Reds shirt for new signing Michael Zullo since his loan move from Holland.
Less than five weeks out from the start of the season, it is coming to the business end of the pre season and Gombau knows the club-s remaining trial games are crucial heading up to the Reds- Round 1 clash at home against Perth Glory.
Kick-Off for the match against the Mariners is at 3.30pm and entry is FREE.
