Adelaide United and Karim Matmour have mutually agreed to part ways.
Matmour joined the Reds in August and amassed 11 appearances for the Club, playing his final match for the Club last Friday against Sydney FC at Coopers Stadium.
Matmour has made the decision to return home due to family reasons.
Speaking on Matmour’s departure, United Head Coach, Marco Kurz, said: “We are disappointed to be losing Karim at this time, but thank him for his efforts this season.
“I understand the reasoning behind him leaving and respect his honesty.”
Adelaide United wishes Karim and his family the best for his future and thank him for his time at the Club.
