The decision to part ways was a mutual agreement between Norton and the club, the 20-year-old seeing the chance to return home as a move that will provide him with more opportunities to further his football career.
Norton was signed to the Reds- Youth Team for the 2010/11 National Youth League season and made two cameo appearances for United in the Hyundai A-League last season.
The club wishes Norton all the best in his football future and thanks him for his professional dedication and endeavour during his time at the Reds.
