From the end of last season-s campaign, on top of new Head Coach Josep Gombau and his right hand man Pau Marti, the club has welcomed seven new signings for the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 Season while farewelling five players from the Reds squad that bowed out of the 2012/13 finals series.
Arrivals for the club-s 10th anniversary year include Spanish duo Sergio Cirio and Isaias Sanchez, former Western Wanderers and Newcastle Jets defender Tarek Elrich, Socceroo Michael Zullo on loan from FC Utrecht in Holland, 22 year old Canberra born midfielder Steven Lustica from Hajduk Split, plus talented local youngsters Awer Mabil and Jordan Elsey from the Reds- Youth Team.
Meanwhile, youngster Teeboy Kamara has been removed from the club-s playing roster until he is deemed to fit to resume playing football again. The club continues to monitor Kamara-s health and progress but until such time that he can return, Lustica will don the number 13 shirt this season.
Current players to change numbers from last season include Osama Malik moving from 2 to 5, Jeronimo Neumann from 21 to 7 and Marcelo Carrusca from 8 to 10.
