Adelaide United defender, Alexandar Popović, spoke to Paramount+ following the Reds 1-1 draw with Melbourne Victory.
Craig Goodwin’s early opener wasn’t enough for the Reds to take all three points on Saturday night, the visitors equalising in the second half.
20-year-old Popović was assured in defence throughout the 90 minutes, however will be forced to miss next week’s match through suspension after an accumulation of yellow cards.

“It’s disappointing for us not to get the three points at home, but we’ll go again next Friday against Macarthur, keeping our heads up and keeping pushing strong.
“Every game is with full intensity and the and expect 100 per cent from everyone.

“It’s disappointing (to have picked up five yellow cards this season).
“But sometimes you have to take one for the team and now I’m unfortunately suspended for next week.”
