“It’s good to understand and learn about this side of Australia,” said Pablo Sanchez.
“The Northern Territory has a lot of stuff for us to enjoy and partake in which made the trip special.
“It was also good for the new players to understand and meet the rest of us as we are all friends, so we are happy to have visited such a fantastic place.
“The games were also very intense, they were very different to play in but we were competitive and motivated to get results.”
Adelaide United now shift their attention to their Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 match against Sydney FC on Wednesday Night.
Pablo Sanchez ex0plained about the importance of the match, as it’s the side’s first home game at Coopers Stadium leading into the new season.
“We are very exciting to play this game against an opposition like Sydney FC,” said Pablo Sanchez.
“We want to get a result because it’s the FFA Cup and it’s important to continue our form from the Northern Territory, so we are focused to do well and win the first game in Coopers Stadium in front of our fans”.
While understanding the significance of the game, the Spaniard believes the side will use last year’s Elimination Final experience as motivation to get a result on Wednesday Night.
“It is very good motivation for us to do well and to help us get a result,” said Pablo Sanchez.
“It’s one more aspect that can help us get a result, so we will use it to the best of our ability.
“But we are the champions and have to defend it this time round, so we are very excited for this match.”
