Adelaide United departed for the Northern Territory on Tuesday morning, as part of the squad’s preparation for the upcoming Hyundai A-League 2015/16 season.
Adelaide United’s trip to the Northern Territory coincides with the club’s and major sponsor, Northern Territory Tourism Commission’s, desire to expand football in the top-end of the country, and encourage all Australians to Do the NT.
This will be their second visit to the Territory this year after already making the trip to the top-end for their Westfield FFA Cup clash against Darwin Olympic earlier this month.
The Reds will be play two matches during their tour of the NT, before returning to Adelaide on Sunday afternoon.
The first match United plays will be on Wednesday night in Alice Springs against the Alice Springs All-Stars, then against fellow Hyundai A-League club, Melbourne City, in Darwin on Saturday night.
This pre-season tour is the second consecutive journey for the Reds to the NT and will see United experience the uniqueness that Alice Springs and Darwin have to offer through numerous community and cultural visits.
