Adelaide United will play Brisbane Roar in the Australia Cup 2022 Quarter Finals following Wednesday night’s draw.
Match details will be confirmed at a later date by Football Australia.
This will be the second meeting between the two sides in the Australia Cup, with United prevailing 2-0 in the last 16 back in the 2014 iteration of the tournament.
Adelaide advanced to the last eight for a seventh time courtesy of a hard-fought 4-1 win on penalties against Adelaide City after the match ended 2-2 following extra-time.
Brisbane defeated Avondale FC 4-1 on penalties to reach the final eight.
United won the inaugural tournament in 2014 before clinching the trophy again in 2018 and 2019 to become the most successful team in the competition’s history.
