Adelaide United FC has organised a host of trial games as the squad continues to build towards the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Season.
The opposition will be comprised of local and Hyundai A-League clubs.
The first game will be next Tuesday night (28 July 2015) against Adelaide Blue Eagles at Marden Sports Complex, kicking off at 7:00pm.
The Reds will then travel to Darwin to begin their title defence of the Westfield FFA Cup when they take on Darwin Olympic in the Round of 32.
Following the clash in Darwin, the squad will have a mid-pre-season break before they travel to the Northern Territory for their annual NT Tour as part of their partnership with the NT Government.
There will be a game against an All Stars Team in Alice Springs on 19 August, and then one game in Darwin on 22 August – against fellow Hyundai A-League club Melbourne City.
After the NT Tour, the squad will return to normal training in preparation for another local clash against Adelaide Comets on Thursday 10 September at the SA Athletics Stadium. Kick-off 7:00pm.
In previous years, these games have been an integral part of the club’s community involvement and are a chance for local league players to compete against South Australia’s Hyundai A-League team. Additionally, it has also been a fundraising opportunity for each of the local clubs having Adelaide United FC on their doorstep.
The games will give fans further opportunities to see the squad for the upcoming season while giving all the players a chance to get more game time.
Fans of both clubs can see the players in action at the Marden Sports Complex for free. Gates will open at 6:00pm, with a 7:00pm kick-off.
