Reds on National Team duty

The 30-year-old delivered a pin-point, crossing free-kick for Bailey Wright to equalise with a thumping header five minutes before the interval.

Earlier in the night, the Olyroos defeated Kuwait U23 2-0 at the 2022 AFC U23 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan with four Reds featuring in the opening group stage match.

Louis D’Arrigo broke the deadlock with a stunning, curling left-footed strike from outside the box in the first-half and alongside Lachlan Brook played 67 minutes.

Joe Gauci started between the sticks and recorded a clean sheet.

Bernardo was also introduced to the action in the 75th minute as the Australians got their tournament off to the best possible start.
