Adelaide United’s next generation has learned its group-stage fixtures for the prestigious Otten Innovation Cup, with the Reds set to face SE Palmeiras, PSV Eindhoven and Manchester United in the Netherlands.
Hosted by PSV, the international Under 19 tournament will be held from 14 to 16 August and will see Adelaide United test itself against some of the world’s most respected academy programs.
The Reds will open their campaign against Brazilian powerhouse SE Palmeiras on Friday, 14 August, before facing tournament host PSV Eindhoven later that evening. Adelaide United will then complete its group-stage fixtures against Manchester United on Saturday, 15 August.

Following the group stage, Adelaide United could play two finals matches, with semi-final fixtures to be determined by group standings.
The Otten Innovation Cup will provide Adelaide United’s young players with valuable exposure to elite international opposition, different football styles and a professional European academy environment.
The Club is also using the Australian Sports Foundation to raise funds to assist in sending the squad to the Netherlands, with a target of $10,000 set to help support the players’ international development opportunity.
