The SA Country Fire Service have been invited by Adelaide United to attend their next home match on Saturday 24 January.

Adelaide United will be showing their support for the SA Country Fire Service by inviting 100 South Australian CFS volunteers onto the pitch pre game, to thank these heroes who helped battle the recent Adelaide Hills bushfires.

A CFS fire truck will be on display outside the Manton street entrance of Coopers Stadium for the kids to check out. The Club have also kindly provided the opportunity for the CFS Foundation to collect donations on the day at the stadiums main entrance gates, so please give generously to the CFS Foundation.

Adelaide United Chief Executive Officer Michael Petrillo welcomed the opportunity to say thank you to the CFS.

“We are pleased to show our support to such a great organisation as the CFS, who do so much to protect people’s lives and homes in our community. We are happy to assist in our own small way”, said Michael Petrillo.

Adelaide United will play Newcastle Jets at Coopers Stadium in Round 15 of the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season on Saturday, 24 January 2015. Kick off is at 4.30pm ACDT. Click here to purchase tickets.
