Adelaide United will take on Victorian National Premier League 2 side, Northcote City FC, in the Australia Cup Round of 32.
Drawn on Wednesday evening by former Adelaide United Captain, Michael Jakobsen, who, coincidentally also won the Australia Cup with the Reds, the fixture sets up a mouth-watering David vs Goliath clash.
Northcote currently sit 10th on the NPL2 ladder, 10 points behind league leaders, Kingston City.
Whilst it is known that United will travel to Victoria for the match, Australia Cup rules still stipulating all NPL sides are to host fixtures when drawn against A-League opposition, specific scheduling details are yet to be confirmed.
