All three of Adelaide United’s All Stars contingent made it onto the pitch against FC Barcelona in an exhibition match in Sydney on Wednesday night.
The A-Leagues All Stars competed extremely well against the La Liga giants and at one stage even went 2-1 ahead before ultimately succumbing to a 3-2 loss in front of more than 70,000 spectators.
Isaías, Nestory Irankuna and Alexandar Popović all featured as second-half substitutes and got to face some of the best footballers in the world.
The Spaniard, who has previously faced Barca during his days with Espanyol was the first Red introduced to the action just before the hour mark.
Irankunda entered the fray next on 64 minutes and almost made an instant impact before young defender Popović played out the final five minutes.
