Ahead of Adelaide United’s meeting with Melbourne City at Coopers Stadium on Saturday night, Opta has provided the key statistics for the match.

Adelaide have triumphed in three of their past five matches against City, all which occurred at home.

The Reds are also unbeaten in their previous five home Hyundai A-League matches, dating back to last campaign with two wins and three draws.

Marco Kurz’s men have recorded 198 passes in the final third from the opening three rounds, the second most in the league behind Newcastle Jets.

Midfielder Vince Lia endeared himself to the Reds faithful thanks to a stunning brace in the 2-2 draw with Melbourne Victory. Incidentally, it was his first-ever league double in the competition.
