Ryan Kitto joined the Reds in the 2016/17 pre-season, signing from Newcastle Jets. Kitto, a local South Australian, was previously part of the Reds’ Youth Team and in the 2013/14 season, he appeared twice for United as a second-half substitute – both appearances coming against the Central Coast Mariners, first in Round 3, then in Round 10. Kitto is renowned as an incredibly hard worker and can play on either flank with ease. The winger played 16 Hyundai A-League games on his return to the Club.
