Adelaide United is thrilled to announce SA Power Networks has extended its partnership with the Club’s women’s team until the end of the 2022/23 Westfield W-League season.

The three-year extension continues to illustrate the South Australian company’s steadfast commitment of women’s football, having supported the AUFC Women side since the 2013/14 campaign.

The SA Power Networks logo will again feature on the front of the Reds’ shirt in addition to training apparel.

Adelaide United Head of Commercial, John Tsianos, acknowledged SA Power Networks’ tremendous support for the women’s team, saying: “We’re delighted to have SA Power Networks on board for three more seasons,” Tsianos said.

“The growth of women’s sport, particularly women’s football, has been exponential in the last few years and SA Power Networks have been unwavering in their support of AUFC Women.

“There has never been a better time for businesses to get behind women’s football and leverage their brands, especially with the FIFA Women’s World Cup coming here to Adelaide and Australia in 2023.”

SA Power Networks Manager: Sponsorship and Events, Kylie Kerrigan, said: “We’re thrilled to continue our support of Adelaide United’s women’s team.

“AUFC Women have made great strides forward on and off the pitch in professionalising the program and with so many young, talented players in the squad the future looks really promising.

“Empowering South Australia through the growth of women’s sport is exciting for us and our partnership with Adelaide United’s aims to support players at both the community and elite level.”

Adelaide United Head of Women’s Football, Ivan Karlović, added: “SA Power Networks’ continued support of women’s football has been tremendous since their involvement with the team.

“This will now be the seventh season that they have been on board and it’s sensational to know we have their backing into the future, around what is an exciting time for the game here with the FIFA Women’s World Cup on the horizon.”

In a show of further support of both the sport and the South Australian Community, SA Power Networks’ commitment will also extend to the Club’s Youth Team as its major front-of-shirt partner from next season.
