Adelaide United Head Coach, Adrian Stenta, spoke to the media directly after his side’s 2-0 loss to Canberra United.
“We wanted to be better than we were last game,” Stenta said.
“We wanted to show improvement and I thought we played quite well at times.
“We got punished for switching off for a couple of minutes just before the drinks break and conceded the two sloppy goals and then at the other end we couldn’t find the back of the net.
“So it’s hard to know what to feel about that game because there were a lot of positives despite the result.
“We’re going to have to refresh now for Wednesday’s game and we’re gonna have to utilise our squad as well.
“That’s why we’ve got players that are ready to step up and play and we’ll prepare as well as we can and be back out in the park on Wednesday.”
