Adelaide United Head Coach, Adrian Stenta, spoke ahead of his side’s match against Brisbane Roar at ServiceFM Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking at Coopers Stadium, Stenta touched on the return of Emily Condon do the extended squad and his team’s performances moving forward.
Condon’s return:
“She’s been able to get back on the park and do a little bit of training.
“We’re not 100% sure if she’s going to be in the matchday squad yet.
“So we’ll see how it pans out, but it’s great to have her back around the group and back on the pitch again.”
Performances will bring results:
“Often when you’re not winning games you can struggle for confidence a little bit and (struggle for) a little bit of belief.
“But we’re just really focused as a group on just trying to improve each week and put out the best performance we possibly can and let the result take care of itself.”
Brisbane’s quality:
“Brisbane has got some quality players in their side and they play well together as a team.
“It was a tough game over in Brisbane last time we played them and we’re expecting the same (this week).
“We’re just hopeful that we can bring our A-game and try and make it as difficult as possible for them and create as many chances to get on the scoresheet as possible for us.”
