Ahead of our first Ninja A-League Women’s home match this weekend, head coach Theo Tsiounis provided an honest assessment following a tough result in our season opener.
Tsiounis on a tough Round One result immediate assessment of the match…
“Obviously the result was disappointing. However, there were passages of play that reflected the identity being developed within the group.
“This is the beginning of the journey together and the group is receptive to continued growth and development. The focus moving forward will be on refining processes to further shape and strengthen the playing style.”
Tsiounis on quickly moving forward toward our first home game this Saturday…
“We’ve identified areas that need to improve quickly and like I always say, the focus will always be on our own performance and what we can bring to the pitch rather than focusing on our opponents.”
