Adelaide United trio Alex Popovic, Marco Caprioli and Mathew Sayee have been chosen to attend the Joey’s 2018 FFSA Member Federation Identification Camp.
The three day camp will take place between 15-17 April at the Adelaide Shores Football Centre and Valo Football Centre and led by Joeys Head Coach, Trevor Morgan.
Morgan will also be assisted by local coaches involved in the elite pathway programs here in Adelaide.
Popovic, Caprioli and Sayee currently play in the Club’s National Premier League Reserves team and are part of the 22-man squad called-up.
The purpose of the camps run by Football Federation Australia (FFA) is to see the best young players compete in high intensity sessions with a focus on the National Team program values and techniques.
The camps, which will be held across every state throughout April, are the first steps in further identifying talent in preparation for the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship in September.
