Adelaide United Youth Head Coach, Paul Vanis has selected a 19-player squad to represent the Club at the prestigious Otten Innovation Cup in the Netherlands.
The tournament provides an invaluable opportunity for the Reds’ young squad to test themselves against elite Under-19 international opposition, continuing their development in a high-performance environment while gaining exposure to different styles of football.
Featuring a blend of emerging talent from across Adelaide United’s pathway, the squad will travel to Europe ready to showcase the Club’s commitment to developing the next generation of players on the international stage.
Several players with senior football experience have been included alongside some of the Club’s brightest prospects, highlighting the strength of Adelaide United’s development pathway.
The Otten Innovation Cup is one of Europe’s premier Under-19 tournaments, bringing together some of the world’s leading academies and youth teams. The experience provides players with the opportunity to compete against elite international opposition while immersing themselves in a professional football environment.

Following the group stage, Adelaide United could play two finals matches, with semi-final fixtures to be determined by group standings.
The Club is also using the Australian Sports Foundation to raise funds to assist in sending the squad to the Netherlands, with a target of $10,000 set to help support the players’ international development opportunity.
