Adelaide United Head Coach, Carl Veart, spoke to the media directly after his side’s 4-0 loss to Central Coast Mariners.
“It is what it is,” Veart said.
“There’s no point wasting any time talking about the game.
“The game’s gone and it’s time for us just to move straight on to next week.
“Today we were just too passive and allowed Central Coast to have too much easy possession and didn’t really show as much fight as they did.
“In saying that, we had some good opportunities in the first half which we should have made more of, but we didn’t and we weren’t in the game at the crucial times.
“We have to remember what we are as a football club and how we want to play football.
“We have to stick to our beliefs and and just keep playing because when we do play good football, we’re a very good side and today we were just too far off the pace.”
