Adelaide United can announce that forward, Fiona Worts, has departed the Club to explore other opportunities.
Worts, 27, joined United ahead of the 2020/21 season, finishing with a total of 39 appearances and 18 goals in her three years with the Club.
She scored 13 goals in 14 regular season matches in 2021/22, on her way to the competition’s Golden Boot as well as the Julie Dolan Medal.
The Englishwoman added three goals to her tally in the Liberty A-League season just gone.

“We appreciate the efforts of Fiona who has been a great player for us for the last three seasons and acknowledge her contributions to our Club over that time.
“Further, we want to thank those that have also left the Club and acknowledge their fine services to the badge.
“We are confident we have recruited smartly to replace these outgoing players, and we are building a squad that can bring us success this season.”
Adelaide United thanks the departing Jenna McCormick and Hannah Holgersen who have left for Brisbane, Paige Hayward to Central Coast Mariners in their returning season, as well as Meisha Westland, MelindaJ Barbieri, Jenna Farrow, Sasha Coorey and Abby Middleton.
